Wisteria blossoms always remind me of my childhood home which had a huge tree covered in wisteria vines in the front yard. It was gorgeous when in bloom and the perfume was heavenly! This little hummingbird is taking a break from his food search, resting amid the sweet blooms of summer.

For God alone my soul waits in silence and quietly submits to Him,

for my hope is from Him.

—Psalm 62:5
