Sometimes when we’re going through difficult times, it’s hard to really trust in the Lord. Income that doesn’t meet outgo. Natural disasters that affect us or our loved ones. Illness. One thing after another that doesn’t go as expected. It seems as if we will never get through whatever our situation happens to be. Our world is laden with stress, but He is always faithful and His Word always has our answers.
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will remain secure and rest in the shadow of the Almighty [whose power no enemy can withstand].

The Lord is my strength and my [impenetrable] shield; My heart trusts [with unwavering confidence] in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I shall thank Him and praise Him.

This little bluebird resting securely amid colorful spring flowers has his priorities in order. Trusting in the Lord. Breathing deeply of His unconditional love. Thanking Him and praising Him with his heart and with his song. These are my prayers for you today.
